Pakistan defeat Japan to secure semi-final berth at Junior Hockey Asia Cup 2023

After defeating Japan on Monday, Pakistan secured a place in the semifinals of the ongoing Junior Hockey Asia Cup 2023.

On May 31, Pakistan will play Malaysia in the semifinal. Pakistan’s victory also guaranteed their qualification for the Junior Hockey World Cup, which will be held in Malaysia this year. It should be remembered that Malaysia has already qualified for the World Cup as the hosts. The other three teams making it to the final four of the Junior Asia Cup will also receive admittance into the World Cup because they have already qualified for the semifinals of that tournament.
