Pakistan defeat Japan to secure semi-final berth at Junior Hockey Asia Cup 2023

After defeating Japan on Monday, Pakistan secured a place in the semifinals of the ongoing Junior Hockey Asia Cup 2023.

Pakistan defeated Japan 3-2 to advance to the tournament’s semi-finals, which are taking place in Oman.

After their match against India ended in a tie, Pakistan simply needed to avoid losing in their final pool encounter against Japan to go to the World Cup.

It should be remembered that Malaysia has already qualified for the World Cup as the hosts. The other three teams making it to the final four of the Junior Asia Cup will also receive admittance into the World Cup because they have already qualified for the semifinals of that tournament.
